Dear Friends,

Fresh wind, fresh fire.

That has been one of my mantras this past year.  When we feed a flame with fresh wind, the fire can grow exponentially.  This is what is happening with the ministry of Healing Waters.

More than at any other time we have the capacity to see exponential growth, in the communities we serve and through our wonderful staff.  Having served as CEO for the past 8 years, I have never been more excited for the way God is leading this ministry.Watch movie online The Transporter Refueled (2015)

One of the biggest ways fresh fire is stirring Healing Waters is through the selection of a new CEO to replace me effective September 1, 2015.  Rob Anthony is the man for the job!

Rob has exceptional educational and professional experience to assume the CEO role.  He has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Theology. He has successfully lead churches and pastored for over 20 years. Prior to pastoring, he had sound business and leadership experience in his own company and with Weyerhaeuser Company. Currently, he is VP of sales for Puralytics, a developer of unique water treatment solutions.  In his role at Puralytics he has travelled extensively in Central America and Africa. I feel totally confident in Rob stepping into this role and leading the organization with humility, determination, and vision.

As my chapter at Healing Waters comes to a close, I look with great joy at what is ahead for the ministry.  2015 is a year of change, growth, and development.  We are thrilled to announce the opening of an entire new state in Mexico.  In the last 11 years all of our projects in Mexico have been in the state of Chiapas.  This year we are expanding into the state of Oaxaca with major ministry potential.  This is as significant as opening an entirely new country!

Our first project in Oaxaca will be in the community of Tehuantepec, where a local pastor began building for this water project on faith, having never even heard of Healing Waters until last year. The local community around the church has a population of 10,000 and the church itself plays a large role in helping the poor. Gastrointestinal illnesses are very common due to the lack of clean water.  We believe that God has called us to this community and the state of Oaxaca for such a time as this.  We sow seed where God leads.

As I hand the reins for this ministry to Rob, I want to ask you to join in the fresh wind and fresh fire. I believe so firmly in this ministry and it’s work: bringing the love of Jesus to so many at-risk communities through the tangible gift of safe water. As a gift to this ministry, a faithful donor has provided a $100,000 matching gift.  It would be my greatest honor if you would join me today, in my last function as CEO, in completing this matching gift!

Please consider giving a gift today!  You will double your impact!

Thank you for the ways you have supported this ministry and for the 8 years that you have trusted my leadership.

Warmest regards,

Ed Anderson
