Healing Waters International understands your concern for how your information is used and shared, and we will not betray that trust. Healing Waters will always use your information carefully and responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how we use your information, and your choices about how your information is collected and used by Healing Waters. This applies to your information collected both online and offline.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect personal information when you voluntarily submit it to us.

For example, donors may provide us with personal information (such as name, address, email address, telephone numbers and/or credit/debit card information). If a donor, or a website visitor, contacts us by email they may provide us with their email address, and name. Providing data is required in these contexts for us to process your donations, requests, or respond to inquiries.

In addition, we may collect personal information about you from reputable third parties, or automatically collect information using the following technologies:

Web Server Logs. Our web servers may collect certain information such as IP address, pages visited, time of visits, and referring website.

Cookies. Cookies are simple text files stored by your web browser that provide a method of distinguishing among donors and visitors to the website.

Healing Waters uses cookies to identify your browser as you visit pages on the Healing Waters website. Cookies also allow Healing Waters to provide more relevant, targeted content.

We may use third-party web analytics services on our Site, such as those of Google Analytics. These service providers help us analyze how users use the Site and which links they clicked on to arrive at the Site. The information collected by the cookies and web beacons (including your IP address) will be disclosed to these service providers, who use the information to evaluate your use of the Site. Links and third party websites

The Site contains hyperlinks or “links” to other sites, including access to content, products and services of our affiliated and non-affiliated sites. For example, online donations to Healing Waters are facilitated by our non-affiliated service provider. When you follow links on our Site you may be directed to a third-party web site, which is subject to a separate privacy policy and other terms and conditions. In some cases, these other web sites are made available via “framing technology” and may appear to be part of our Site. We urge you to familiarize yourself with the individual privacy policies and other terms for each linked or framed site prior to submitting any personal information. We are not responsible for the data collection, privacy and information sharing policies and procedures or the content of such web sites.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

With whom do we share information?

We do not trade, share, or sell information that you provide to us with other organizations who intend to use it only to market their products or services to you.

We collect information primarily to accept donations, complete charitable projects, and provide you with information concerning our programs, projects, and activities. We also use information for internal purposes and for analytical purposes.

How long will we keep your credit card information?

In general, we will keep your personal information only for such a period as may be required or allowed by applicable law. Credit card numbers are only used for donation or payment processing and are not retained for any other purposes.

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information you provide against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you to reflect changes in our personal information practices. We will post a notice on the Site to notify you of any significant changes to our Privacy Policy and indicate at the top of the Policy when it was most recently updated. Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.
