Americas Lead Field Engineer - Guatemala
John’s career of service dates back to 2015, when he began work as an Emergency Medical Technician in New York City. Since then, he has provided care for diverse populations including people experiencing homelessness, recovering from addiction, and transitioning from incarceration.
As an engineer working in renewable energy from 2022 to 2026, John supported field data collection, project quality control, and civil and environmental site design.
To implement Healing Water’s Guatemala mission, he works with rural communities in building and maintaining safe, resilient drinking water systems. John makes sure to go on bike rides, eat lots of tropical fruit, and tend to houseplants to keep up his upbeat demeanor.
