To address the shortage of potable water, we installed our first water purification system in Colombia in 2013 with the help of the PIER Institute. Located in the community of Macedonia, the project serves an indigenous population living on the Amazon River. Having previously relied on rain water collection, the purification system means that the community now has year round access to safe drinking water.
