Dr. Robin (Robina) Waterman
Director of Grants and Education Impact
Robina is excited to join HWI as a way to continue to live out her life-time commitment to working with, and on behalf-of, the poorest of our brothers and sisters. This works brings her deep joy and is always transformative, helping her become more of who God created her to be. Robina earned her bachelors in anthropology and English from Bates College and later earned a Masters in Education and then a doctorate degree in Administration, Policy and Social Planning from Harvard University. Robina also draws from 35 years experience creating and directing health and education programs, in rural El Salvador and Mexico, and among Mexican immigrants living in Denver. Most recently Robina served for 14 years as the founder and CEO of a non-profit aimed at increased health and education for low-income, Latino immigrants living in Aurora. As part of her mental and physical health, Robina is an avid triathlete, making time to ride, run or swim every day. She is married and has a daughter.
